New Video: Chris Brown ft Aaliyah “Don’t Think They Know”

Chris Brown has just released the new video to his new single, “Don’t Think They Know”.Chris tweeted several days ago that this the song is apart of his “Unity Message”. The song featuresAaliyah whose vocals are mesh with the song. I do get Chris Brown’s message but the video does not match lyrically which is a little frustrating.

The video shows Chris Brown trying to make peace with the Crips and the Bloods and promoting unity.
Lyrically, I’m hearing a man and woman singing about a forbidden love between each other. Shoutout
to Jon B, whose single “They Don’t Know” is interpolated into the song. What do you think of the video?

I am not a big Chris Brown fan, but this song is very good. Aaliyah and Chris’s voice mesh very well together, but its sad because it made me miss Aaliyah even more. The video was okay, but I didn’t care for the random dances in between the “story line”. It didn’t seem to mesh well with me even though Chris is mainly known for his dancing. Also, the blood and crips concept of the video got lost to me. I mean what was the video trying to convey? I know the song is about a love between a couple and about people not understanding why these two parties love each other, but not sure the video did the song justice. I’m sure I got something wrong. but overall I did enjoy the song.
